I would arrive in Salem, the home of “Hero Town.” Thanks, Vulfpeck! You saved me again.

This was the town. This was Arkham. This was where all of the witches lived. Had I visited a single shop, I would have exposed myself. Having completed our third and final “ghost” verification, it was time to plant our seeds in Arkham:

  1. Quit The Agency abruptly, leaving no trace.
  2. Drop payment into Loove Labs, without exposing my identity.
  3. Deliver our business cards to the Night Owl Tavern.

Upon arrival, I would stop at one of the local inns. It was a quaint, victorian-style building, probably built in the 1800’s. I couldn’t wait to start writing, but I was hungry, so I headed-out.

The streets were bustling with people. Fortunately, I didn’t have to go far.

I ate some delicious Korean food, and drank a couple of beers for the first time in months. I was at peace.

After, I headed into a local consignment shop. I wasn’t particularly interested in the items - I wanted to drop a stack of business cards upon the front counter. But I didn’t want to be caught.

So, I walked around until I had my opportunity. Walking past the front desk, I placed the stack out-of-sight from the owner - but in clear view of patrons. These would go quickly.

Finally, I returned to my room, and wrote.

I went to bed early. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
